A FEW COSMIC ANSWERS

How can we help?

01 Playing Puffy Planets

How do I play?

Drag to aim your UFO, then release to drop a planet. Two matching planets merge into the next larger planet. Keep the stack below the danger line!

The in-app How to Play screen explains combos, Rainbow planets, and power-ups.

Can I play without an internet connection?

Yes. Classic gameplay works offline. In-app purchases, restoring purchases, and optional Game Center features need an internet connection.

Do I need an account or Game Center?

You do not need a Puffy Planets account. Game Center is optional and lets you use Apple’s leaderboards, achievements, and cloud saves. Cloud save also requires iCloud Drive. You can play and save progress on your device without signing in.

02 Purchases & Cosmic Pass

How do I restore a purchase?

Open Settings, the Shop, or Cosmic Pass in Puffy Planets and choose Restore Purchases. Make sure you are using the Apple Account that made the original purchase.

Restoring applies to eligible non-consumable purchases and current subscriptions. It does not deliver previously consumed gem purchases again. To recover an unspent gem balance saved in an existing cloud backup, use Settings → Saved Progress → Restore Progress.

How do I cancel Cosmic Pass?

On your iPhone, open Settings → your name → Subscriptions → Cosmic Pass, then choose the cancellation option. Apple manages your subscription and billing.

Deleting Puffy Planets does not cancel your subscription. See Apple’s subscription instructions.

A purchase is missing. What should I do?

Check your internet connection and Apple Account purchase history, then reopen the game. For an eligible non-consumable purchase or active Cosmic Pass, try Restore Purchases.

If you were charged and the content is still missing, email us with the item name, approximate purchase date, app version, and what happened. Please keep the app installed while troubleshooting so your local progress is preserved. A cloud backup may not include your most recent offline changes.

How do I request a refund?

Apple handles payments and refund decisions. You can request a refund for an eligible purchase at reportaproblem.apple.com. Approval depends on Apple’s policies. Read Apple’s refund guidance.

03 Progress & settings

Where is my progress saved?

Your progress is saved automatically on your device. For an optional backup with Apple, open Settings → Saved Progress and turn on Cloud Save. Sign in to Game Center and enable iCloud Drive in your iPhone’s Settings.

Cloud backups include your gem balance, discoveries, skins, power-ups, scores, missions, and unfinished game. Changes back up while you are connected. Check the Last Backup time before deleting the app or moving devices. Sound and notification choices stay on each device.

How do I recover progress or move to another device?

Use the same Game Center and iCloud accounts as the original device, enable iCloud Drive, and turn on Cloud Save in Puffy Planets. A fresh installation can recover an existing backup automatically.

For a manual restore, choose Restore Progress and review the saved game before selecting it. If both devices have different progress, choose the save you want to keep. One complete save replaces the other; gem balances are not added together.

If no backup is found, connect your original device and choose Back Up Now first. Restore Purchases is separate from restoring game progress.

What happens if I turn off cloud save or reset progress?

Turning off Cloud Save stops new backups on that device and keeps any existing cloud save. You can continue playing offline with local saves.

Reset Progress erases your current game progress. If cloud save is enabled, the reset becomes your next backup. Check the confirmation carefully before resetting.

How do I turn off sounds or reminders?

Open Settings inside Puffy Planets to adjust sounds and reminders. You can also change notification permission in your iPhone’s Settings → Notifications → Puffy Planets.

Where can I read about my privacy?

Our Puffy Planets privacy policy explains local game data, Apple services, install attribution, and what happens when you contact support.
