1. Game progress

Your gem balance, discoveries, scores, missions, settings, and saved game are stored locally on your device. Cloud save is optional and off by default. If you enable it in the game’s Settings, Puffy Planets uses Apple’s Game Center saved-game service to store a backup in your private iCloud storage.

The backup includes gameplay progress, your gem and power-up balances, unlocked skins, reward claims, an unfinished game, and purchase-delivery records that prevent duplicate grants. The app associates the backup with your Game Center player identifier. Sound preferences, notification choices, and local install-attribution bookkeeping stay on your device.

Cloud save requires Game Center sign-in and iCloud Drive. Use the same Game Center and iCloud accounts when restoring on another device. We do not receive these backups through our own server or provide a developer account for cloud saves.

Deleting the app can delete local progress, including changes that have not reached a cloud backup. Turning cloud save off or deleting the app does not automatically erase an existing iCloud save. Your operating system’s backup settings may also retain or restore local data. Game Center scores and achievements are handled separately as described below.

2. Purchases

Apple processes in-app purchases and Cosmic Pass subscriptions. Puffy Planets receives Apple-signed transaction information and verifies it on your device to provide purchased content and determine your entitlements. We do not receive your payment-card details.

Restore Purchases can restore eligible non-consumable purchases and current subscriptions. It does not deliver consumed gem purchases again. Restore Progress can recover an unspent balance included in an existing cloud backup. Apple’s handling of purchase, billing, and iCloud information is governed by Apple’s privacy policy.

3. Game Center

Game Center is optional. If you use it, the app works with Apple’s Game Center service to display your player name and submit game scores and achievements. Enabling cloud save also uses Game Center to access the private iCloud backup described above. That backup is separate from public leaderboard scores.

Your Game Center profile and visibility settings control how information appears in Apple’s service.

You can manage Game Center in your device’s Settings and play Puffy Planets without signing in. Apple’s privacy information applies to its services.

4. Notifications

If you allow reminders, Puffy Planets schedules notifications locally on your device, such as reminders about gifts or returning to the game. The current app does not operate a remote push-notification server.

You can turn reminders off in the game’s Settings or change notification permission in your device’s Settings.

5. Install attribution

The app uses Apple’s SKAdNetwork conversion API to support attribution for installs from advertising campaigns. It updates conversion values representing broad gameplay milestones and purchase-value ranges. Apple may include these values in privacy-preserving attribution reports for an eligible advertising campaign.

Puffy Planets does not access your device’s advertising identifier (IDFA) and does not embed an advertising-network SDK. This attribution mechanism is separate from your locally saved game progress.

6. Support and this website

If you email us, we receive your email address and the information you choose to include, such as a description of an issue, device details, or screenshots. We use that information to respond to your request and investigate the issue. Our email provider processes messages to deliver and store them.

Please do not send passwords, payment-card details, or information unrelated to your request. Support correspondence is kept as needed to handle the request and meet applicable legal obligations. You can contact us to request deletion of information you provided.

These public support and privacy pages are hosted on smarterapp.net and do not require sign-in. Website hosting providers may process technical request information, such as an IP address, to deliver and secure the site. Smarter’s separate app, accounts, and website services are covered by the Smarter privacy policy.

7. Your choices

• Local game data: you control the app and backups on your device. Deleting the app can remove progress, so take care before uninstalling.
• Cloud save: enable or disable backups in the game’s Settings. Turning it off stops new backups on that device and keeps the existing save. If you reset progress while cloud save is enabled, the reset is backed up. Manage stored iCloud data through Apple’s account and device settings.
• Apple services: manage Game Center, subscriptions, and Apple’s privacy settings through your Apple Account or device Settings. Deleting the app does not cancel a subscription.
• Reminders: disable them in the game or withdraw notification permission in Settings.
• Support information: email us to ask about access, correction, or deletion of information you have sent us.

We cannot access or delete information held independently by Apple on your behalf. Apple’s privacy resources explain how to manage information associated with its services.

8. Changes and contact

We may update this policy when the app or its privacy practices change. The date at the top identifies the latest version.
