Smarter helps drivers analyze offers and track shifts. We collect and process only what is needed to run these features.
What we collect
- Email address (for account sign-in and support)
- Basic account/subscription status (for access control)
- Device identifier (used to associate your device with your account/subscription for access control)
What the app processes on your device
- Offer data (fare, distance, time, service type, and related metrics)

Offer details are extracted on-device from enabled features. Depending on your device and settings, the app may process screenshot images or extract offer details from on-screen content. We do not upload screenshot images or offer images for offer parsing; however, your account and subscription status may be synced to our backend to support login, subscription access, and device association.
Location permission
If you enable shift tracking, Smarter uses location to calculate driving distance and shift metrics. This functionality can run in the background while shift tracking is active.
Data storage
- Offer history and most analytics are stored locally on your device.
- Account/subscription records are stored in our backend to keep login and subscription access working (including device association for access control).
What we do not collect
We do not collect or store your photos. Screenshots used with app features are processed locally on your device and are never uploaded to our servers.
Your control
- Turn Gallery Mode on/off
- Revoke Photos/Location permissions in system settings
- Stop shift tracking any time
- Clear offer history in the app
- Sign out or uninstall the app
